Award

The goal of this effort is to expand the capabilities of the Wolverine into a multipurpose airfield support vehicle. Currently, the Wolverine is used for autonomous payload delivery from storage locations to the flightline, towing AGE, FOD sweeping, etc. Through this D2P2 effort, we propose to expand the capabilities of the Wolverine to other aircraft support roles:1. Provisioning of hydraulic pressure from a compact multi-purpose vehicle in close proximity to aircraft for aircraft maintenance (lifts, auxiliary power, etc.), or elsewhere on the airfield2. Provisioning of electrical power in close proximity to aircraft, or elsewhere on the airfield3. Loading on weapons on aircraft (external and internal)  KalScott will conduct the engineering development and testing tasks under this D2P2 to achieve the above capabilities. The hardware will be first developed and tested at KalScott (in Lawrence KS) using a Wolverine vehicle which will be acquired for this effort. Then, the vehicle will be transitioned to the DAF Customer site for test and evaluation.
