Abstract
This proposal develops design details and materials concepts for a Collapsible Rigid Inflatable Boat (C-RIB). The proposal seeks to develop a seaworthy prototype within Phase I budgets and time- frames. A multi-disciplined team approach will develop a lightweight, armored, low observable craft launchable from submarines, aircraft, and surface vessels. Commercial versions are contemplated in collapsible and conventional RIB versions.
