Abstract

The objective of the proposalis to develop and extend the algorithmic state of the art for the guidance, target state and estimation, and control of current and advanced missile interceptors. Three potential areas have been identified which can benefitfrom the new and extended developments proposed. Most importantly, these three developments can be integrated with one another to provide a more complete algorithmic package which can be utilized on both future and current airframes. Reduce the biases andrandom errors associated with current target state estimation which will therefore allow more accurate and potentially mission enabling tracking and interception.
