Abstract

The overall goal of the project is to develop a computerized data collection and reporting system fComprehensive Addiction Severity Index for Adolescents (CASI-A) so that the CASI-A may be more effeca clinical and research assessment instrument. The plan is to develop a clinically relevant computersold nationwide to clinics and research projects who assess and treat adolescents for alcohol and drautomated system will enable direct entry of data during the semi-structured interview, calculationproduction of brief clinical and comprehensive problem severity summary reports. The development pladeveloping and evaluating the automated system within two alcohol and drug treatment programs for adPhiladelphia: Youth Services Division of Northeast Treatment and The Bridge.
