Abstract

This project will develop a neural network based Figure of Merit or Target Quality Subsystem for use in Carrier and Amphibious Assult Ship Air Traffic Control Subsystem. This system will take sensor data from multiple sensors into the subsystem and determine the actual target location. This will develop confidence in the fused data. It will examine the consistence in target identification. Neural Network technology offers a unique opportunity to enhance shipboard sensor systems.
