Abstract

Under our Phase I SBIR effort, and also under a complementary Arete Associates IR&D-funded airborne program, Areté successfully defined and performed preliminary airborne, long-standoff, demonstration of critical elements of novel, passive, multi-view, multi-channel algorithms for performing FOPEN against targets highly occluded by foliage. During Phase II, through the Phase II option, Arete proposes further development and integration of these multi-view, multi-channel FOPEN algorithms into a seamless, GUI-based, prototype exploitation tool to be delivered to NGA analysts for testing. Before delivery, additional testing and validation of this exploitation tool would occcur on new airborne FOPEN collection data to ensure algorithm robustness.
