Abstract

The Government needs a process that develop Form, Fit, Function, and Interface (F3I) specifications for legacy electronics, even when no or almost no design information is present. The process must succeed even when only hardware samples and test information are available. The proposed effort will develop a process by which F3I test requirements can be successfully re-engineering from legacy data and hardware examples. The process will be demonstrated with a tool that automates the interative cycle in which test requirements are updated from hardware test results.
