Abstract

This effort will develop an HLA compliant representation of non-visual stimuli with the intention of utilizing the models developed in Phase I effort to provide data for "human" mannequin stimulation in Phase II. The Phase II goal is to have the mannequin respon in a physiologically realistic manner to the non-visual stimuli data that will be passed to it over a network and via an interface. Such mannequins could then be used in training or simulation scenarios. In the fundamental efforts of Phase I, an object oriented approach is planned. In addition to representation of the non-visual stimuli, object model representation of key human physiological systems will be developed, as well as relevant interactions.
