Abstract

We propose a novel, high performance tunable narrowband bandpass preselect filter that is capable of continuously tuning from 400MHz - 3GHz. The proposed filter offers an order of magnitude reduction in SWAP-C, small size (1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4"), low cost and minimal power consumption. The proposed design uses conventional fabrication processes and inexpensive off-the-shelf commercially available components to minimize cost and technical risk.
