Abstract
The proposed project covers manufacturing improvements in the production of specific high volume batteries of interest to DLA as specified in their SBIR Proposal Submission Request noted above, with the exception of the PRC-154 and PLM-4 Batteries. Bren-Tronics proposes to go directly to Phase II because we have already demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed manufacturing improvements on the BB-2590 battery. Bren-Tronics has a proven record of producing and delivering military batteries in total quantities in the hundreds of thousands, based on purchasing the best available cells and incorporating proprietary electronic controls and safety features.
