Abstract

Small Satellites are a rapidly growing technology and of great interest to both commercial and DOD customers. With the increased access to space and the maturation of small satellites, the mission capabilities have expanded significantly. Along with these expanded capabilities are a need for new approaches to satellite communications with increased capabilities. Blue Cubed is working on developing these capabilities for commercial users and interested in identifying key Air Force stakeholders who see would benefit from our approach. Many small satellite vendors express a concern with current capabilities and we believe the DOD is seeing the same issue. This proposal will validate the product-market fit between the Blue Cubed communication systems and a potential US Air Force stakeholder in addition to defining a clear and immediately actionable plan for running a trial with the proposed solution and the proposed US Air Force customer.
