The DLA has a need to identify competent and qualified domestic suppliers for mission critical items that are becoming increasingly scarce. By the end of the Phase I contract, Mentis will generate Technical Data Packages and Source Approval Requests for five components, with focus on TF33 engine parts. Mentis will review all existing available information and perform any reverse engineering efforts required during the generation of the technical data packages. Technical data packages include all attributes, manufacturing specification, and inspection/quality requirements the component or assembly. Complete and comprehensive manufacturing plans will be developed for each component and compiled in a Source Approval Request for establishing the Mentis team as validated source for the components. At conclusion of the Phase I, Mentis will be an approved source for all five components specified.
