The DLA has a need to identify competent and qualified domestic suppliers for mission critical items that are becoming increasingly scarce. By the end of the Phase I contract, Mentis will generate a Technical Data Package and complete a Source Approval Request for five components, with focus on TF33 engine parts. Mentis will review all existing information to ensure no additional information is needed for all the components, with a reverse engineering effort expected for at least one component. A drawing package will be generated for each component, including the required specifications and dimensions to maintain quality of the component. A Source Approval Request will be generated containing the information needed to procure the part and all quality documentation to verify the minimum requirements of manufacturing are met. At conclusion of the Phase I, Mentis will be an approved source for all five components specified.
