Abstract

Toyon Research Corp. proposes a feasibility study including all promising techniques for enabling SOCOM’s desired Multi-FMV Fusion 3D Capability, which is intended to reduce operator cognitive burden and enhance multi-source surveillance data exploitation. Key topics to consider include multi-platform FMV registration and fusion, 3D model reconstruction, fused video rendering, and artificial intelligence-based annotation of the fused video feed. The resulting geo-registration accuracy and fused video resolution will also be investigated. We will consider options for input data integration for DoD small UASs and commercial UASs, as well as OGC compliance in input and output data interfaces. We will formulate a plan for Phase II prototype development and document expected outcomes of the proposed development.
