Air Force Nuclear Weapons center requires Digital Engineering needs to connect critical data and programs to execute accelerated engineering pathways.  Even with modern digital tooling such as Cameo, IBM Rational Doors, AFSim and many others, it can still be hard to effectively collaborate on projects in the earliest stages of design considering the large number of stakeholders and challenges of working across many disparate domains. This can lead to significant project delays, miscommunication between project team members and dangerous assumptions being made about various aspects of the project as team members work in isolation from each other. With the InnoVet Decision Platform (IDP), based on a flexible architecture and Concurrent Engineering / Concurrent Design (CD) processes, one of our unique value propositions - We make Model Based System Engineering a team sport and introduce the concept of truly Collaborative and Concurrent Digital Engineering (CCDE). Using standardized data models, industry standard interfaces and open source software we are able to connect a wide variety of both Digital Engineering and more traditional tools such as MS Word into a seamless highly collaborative software environment that enables organizations to significantly accelerate, de-risk and reduce the cost of projects, especially in the earliest phases of the design process through “hyper collaboration” powered by IDP.
