Abstract
Landing electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) vehicles in urban environments autonomously will require high-accuracy and high-integrity localization capable of operating in GNSS-denied environments. This task can be supported by a combination of ground infrastructure deployed at a Vertiport and airborne sensors. The proposed work consists in developing a sub-meter accuracy localization solution capable of operating in a wide range of conditions, with a focus on security, low acquisition and deployment cost, and ease of deployment and maintenance.
