Abstract

In Phase I, JBE proved that two coatings improved the abrasion resistance of materials typically used in high temperature seals.nbsp; Phase I testing was done at ambient temperature.nbsp; In Phase II, JBE will determine the optimal seal material and coating combinations, work to optimize the coating processes, and validate the improved abrasion resistance at representative and relevant temperatures.nbsp;
