Abstract
We will develop broadband adaptive pulse shaping technology that is optimized specifically for IR countermeasure applications. The effort will enable a new class of precisely controlled nonlinear interactions including strong light–matter interactions developed to disrupt optical control systems applicable to both the MWIR and LWIR spectral ranges. The project will culminate in a prototype design with specific considerations for long range operation to eliminate threats at > 1 km distances.
