Conventional imaging systems require large amounts of memory and power to run, bio-inspired systems can maintain performance while reducing the size, weight, and power requirements. In this project, Areté proposes the development of a fully bio-inspired vision system for missile detection and tracking. By combining Areté’s expertise in detection algorithms with the University of Tennessee TENNLab’s expertise in neuromorphic systems, we provide a tailored bio-inspired solution.
