Abstract

To address the Army’s need for aircraft survivability for Countering Directed Energy Weapon (C-DEW) threat, Veelo Technologies is proposing to develop a conductive composite for protecting against high energy lasers (HEL) and/or High-Power Microwaves (HPM). Veelo’s vision is to develop an easy to apply, lightweight shielding solution with a target shielding effectiveness that exceeds 80 dB.
