Research Institution

TIAX, LLC will develop a laminated prismatic Lithium-ion cell based on electrolyte formulations that TIAX has already demonstrated to be capable of supporting high power and long operational life across an extended temperature range from -50 degreesC to 70 degreesC. The cell chemistry will incorporate anode and cathode materials chosen to enable high rate charging at low temperature, and long cycle life in laminated cell packaging at high temperature, while achieving the highest energy content that can be obtained within the restraints of the operating temperature and cell packaging requirements.
