Abstract

Toyon developed a Phase I framework leveraging spatiotemporal image processing algorithms for non-stationary clutter estimation, and nonlinear filtering based Track-before-Detect algorithms for tracking targets. Information is fused across sensors without loss of information due to detection thresholds. Algorithms, when applied jointly, provide a near-optimal solution. In addition, algorithms are capable of resolving objects and robustly accounting for detection and tracking nonlinearities. In Phase II, the Toyon-UConn team will modify, extend and optimize developed algorithms for more challenging real-world operation. Approved for Public Release 14-MDA-7739 (18 March 14).
