The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) invites previous Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I awardees to apply for Phase II funding under this program solicitation. Phase II awards are only provided to those Phase I awardees that meet the eligibility requirements of a Phase II project. To be eligible for a Phase II award, an applicant must have been funded by the USDA SBIR program as a Phase I project and have not previously applied for Phase II funding under this program. See section 1.4 of this solicitation for other eligibility requirements.
