Award Data
The Award database is continually updated throughout the year. As a result, data for FY24 is not expected to be complete until March, 2025.
Download all SBIR.gov award data either with award abstracts (290MB)
or without award abstracts (65MB).
A data dictionary and additional information is located on the Data Resource Page. Files are refreshed monthly.
The SBIR.gov award data files now contain the required fields to calculate award timeliness for individual awards or for an agency or branch. Additional information on calculating award timeliness is available on the Data Resource Page.

Powered Ascender for Pilot Extraction
SBC: QUOIN INTERNATIONAL, INC. Topic: AF04128The Air Force has identified a need for a system that provides improved firefighter and rescue personnel access to cockpits and speeds pilot extraction under ground emergency conditions. Emergency personnel must be able to open the canopy, accomplish engine shutdown, make the ejection system safe, and extract the pilot during ground emergencies. The proximity of engine inlets to the cockpit and th ...

Radiation-Resistant Nanoscopically Enhanced Solar Cell Coverglass
SBC: HYBRID PLASTICS Topic: AF05022Hybrid Plastics proposes to develop a low cost, and versatile method for shielding commercial and military solar cells from damage against proton and electron radiation. The technical approach utilizes metallized nanoscopic polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes as conformal coatings on coverglass and on solar cell surfaces. Such coatings would permit spacecraft designers to increase duty cycles wh ...

Radio Frequency (RF) Plane Wave Generator
SBC: Quick Reaction Corporation Topic: N/AQRC submits this proposal in response to SBIR AF98-286 for a Plane Wave generator. The plane wave generator is required to generate a free space RF wave installed in the Benefield Anechoic Facility (BAF) to evaluate the various electromagnetic systems installed on the aircraft systems such as the B1B, F16, and C17. The generator must cover a wide frequency band in order to test the many differen ...
