  5. Low-Cost, Laser Process for Synthesizing Nanolayered Solar Cells

    A low-cost laser process for synthesizing nanolayers in solar cells is proposed. The net effect of these nanolayers is a wide absorption of the solar spectrum. In this proposed process a laser is used to form many p-n junctions in a thin, lightly doped wafer.
