The Award database is continually updated throughout the year. As a result, data for FY24 is not expected to be complete until March, 2025.

Download all SBIR.gov award data either with award abstracts (290MB) or without award abstracts (65MB). A data dictionary and additional information is located on the Data Resource Page. Files are refreshed monthly.

The SBIR.gov award data files now contain the required fields to calculate award timeliness for individual awards or for an agency or branch. Additional information on calculating award timeliness is available on the Data Resource Page.

  1. Widely Tunable High Power Quantum Cascade Laser Arrays for Standoff Detection

    SBC: EOS Photonics            Topic: A14AT015

To achieve the goals of this program improving spectral coverage and output power of monolithic QCL sources as well as the development of a production and manufacturing plan - we propose to develop in collaboration with MIT Lincoln Laboratory a broadly tunable high power source that is based on Eos"proprietary QCL array technology. The current generation of Eos"commercially available fully packag ...

  3. Development of an Innovative System for Cryodeposit Mitigation and Redmediation

SBC: PHYSICAL SCIENCES INC.            Topic: AF12BT10

ABSTRACT: Physical Sciences Inc. (PSI) and the University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI) will develop an innovative system to measure and control the cryodeposit layer thickness that develops on cold (~20 K) surfaces in cryogenic radiometric calibration chambers. Currently removing the cryo-layer involves a lengthy process that warms the entire cryo-system to desorb the cryo-layer that incr ...

  4. Solar Blind MgZnO Photodetectors

SBC: AGNITRON TECHNOLOGY, INC.            Topic: A13AT006

This project address the fabrication of solar blind detectors from the MgZnO material system. Both MBE and MOCVD material growth techniques will be used for deposition of the required material layers. Simulation software we be used to aid in the design of the photodetector structure. Devices will be fabricated from the grown structures and their electrical and optical characteristics determined.

  5. Improving the Physics of Applied Reverberation Models

SBC: Ocean Acoustical Services and Instrumentation Systems, Inc.            Topic: N13AT026

The proposed work will address the core physics underlying acoustic reverberation as related to properties of the ocean environment and properties of the acoustic sources, receivers and waveforms that make up ocean-going acoustic systems of interest to the U.S. Navy. Present day active acoustic system performance models, which contain reverberation models as an essential component, are over twenty ...

  7. Micro-targeted Computerized Alcohol Misuse Intervention System for Health Care

SBC: RESEARCH CIRCLE ASSOCIATES            Topic: NIAAA

DESCRIPTION provided by applicant Alcohol misuse continues to pose a major burden for public health Screening and brief intervention for alcohol misuse in primary care settings has been recommended for decades and the evidence base supporting it in primary care is robust However many primary care providers do not intervene in alcohol misuse and those that do often fail to do so systematica ...

  8. Extending Genome-Phenome Analysis

    SBC: SimulConsult, Inc.            Topic: 172

DESCRIPTION provided by applicant The declining cost of whole exome sequencing WES is nearing the point at which the spread of WES into clinical practice will be limited largely by the cost of interpreting the results and comparing them to the patientandapos s clinical findings This project builds on our demonstrated capability to reduce this interpretation cost by pairing our diagnostic sof ...

  10. Particulate Composite Mixing Processes

SBC: TRITON SYSTEMS, INC.            Topic: AF14AT22

ABSTRACT: Triton Systems proposes to develop a novel computational model for complex particulate composite mixing processes and the resultant microstructures in high shear environments. Control of mixing of granular and particulate composites (e.g., particles in a polymer matrix) to achieve homogeneous mixtures is essential in many important functional material systems and applications, including ...
