The Award database is continually updated throughout the year. As a result, data for FY24 is not expected to be complete until March, 2025.

Download all SBIR.gov award data either with award abstracts (290MB) or without award abstracts (65MB). A data dictionary and additional information is located on the Data Resource Page. Files are refreshed monthly.

The SBIR.gov award data files now contain the required fields to calculate award timeliness for individual awards or for an agency or branch. Additional information on calculating award timeliness is available on the Data Resource Page.

  1. Solar Blind MgZnO Photodetectors

SBC: AGNITRON TECHNOLOGY, INC.            Topic: A13AT006

This project address the fabrication of solar blind detectors from the MgZnO material system. Both MBE and MOCVD material growth techniques will be used for deposition of the required material layers. Simulation software we be used to aid in the design of the photodetector structure. Devices will be fabricated from the grown structures and their electrical and optical characteristics determined.

  2. Dual S & C-Band Telemetry Transmitter System for Missile Testing

    SBC: Quasonix, LLC            Topic: MDA11T004

Missile flight test telemetry has been performed at S band (2200 2395 MHz) since the 1960s. In 2007, Department of Defense test ranges acquired access to new C-band frequency ranges (4400 4950 and 5091 5150 MHz). While these new bands offer a substantial increase in the total bandwidth available for flight test telemetry, traditional S-band operations will continue for many years, due in part ...

  6. Wind Turbine Clutter Mitigation

SBC: MATRIX RESEARCH INC            Topic: AF12BT05

ABSTRACT: Matrix and CSU are poised to develop algorithms to suppress radar WTC while preserving signals from targets of interest such as aircraft and weather. Our processing approach will be capable of utilizing radar data from either stationary- or scanning-mode ground-based systems. We will work closely with our transition partner to develop a Phase II transition plan to integrate our approac ...

  7. Exploitable Physics for Recognition and Classification II

SBC: MATRIX RESEARCH INC            Topic: AF12BT06

ABSTRACT: The objective of this effort is to demonstrate innovative methods for deriving a sparse set of physical target features that can be used for exploitation of air-to-ground signature data collected from sensor systems including electro-optical, infrared, ladar, and radar. Current classification methods require near exact replication of the original imaging parameters, or extensive modelin ...

  8. Narrowband Perfect Absorber for Infrared Sensing

    SBC: SRICO INC            Topic: A12aT023

SRICO proposes to combine metamaterial narrowband absorbers and SRICO-proprietary thin film pyroelectric thermal detectors to produce ultra low size, weight, power and cost (SWAP-C) room temperature stand-off chemical sensors. Metamaterial narrowband absorber elements are integrated into the thin film pyroelectric detector process to provide conversion of radiation to heat, which is then sensed by ...
