Award Data
The Award database is continually updated throughout the year. As a result, data for FY24 is not expected to be complete until March, 2025.
Download all SBIR.gov award data either with award abstracts (290MB)
or without award abstracts (65MB).
A data dictionary and additional information is located on the Data Resource Page. Files are refreshed monthly.
The SBIR.gov award data files now contain the required fields to calculate award timeliness for individual awards or for an agency or branch. Additional information on calculating award timeliness is available on the Data Resource Page.

Autonomous Broad Spectrum Environmental Sentinels
SBC: NEVADA NANOTECH SYSTEMS, INC. Topic: A13AT017We propose a platform for aerial environmental monitoring based on the integration of two advanced technologies for the first time: a lightweight, flying robotic platform capable of hovering and swarming, and a compact, low-power chemical sensor platform called the Molecular Property Spectrometer (MPS): a robust, low-cost, silicon-chip-based micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) that has been use ...

Automated assessment of disclosure risk
SBC: SECURBORATION, INC. Topic: AF13AT14ABSTRACT: Information systems continue to progress in terms of collecting, characterizing and assessing information. While this evolution has provided unprecedented intelligence capability to the U.S. and our allies, it has also raised unique challenges in the area of information security and disclosure risks. In particular, the intelligence community (IC) currently lacks the ability to understan ...

Highly-Resolved Wall-Shear-Stress Measurement in High Speed Flows
SBC: INTERDISCIPLINARY CONSULTING CORP Topic: AF14AT08ABSTRACT: The ability to obtain time-resolved, direct wall shear stress measurement is an important asset to aerodynamic research, flow control and to enhance the fundamental understanding of the turbulent boundary layer. Due to a lack of reliable and affordable skin friction sensors, existing indirect methods are used to measure wall shear stress but their usefulness is limited since prior kno ...

Solar Blind MgZnO Photodetectors
SBC: AGNITRON TECHNOLOGY, INC. Topic: A13AT006This project address the fabrication of solar blind detectors from the MgZnO material system. Both MBE and MOCVD material growth techniques will be used for deposition of the required material layers. Simulation software we be used to aid in the design of the photodetector structure. Devices will be fabricated from the grown structures and their electrical and optical characteristics determined.

Inferring Social and Psychological Meaning in Social Media
SBC: SECURBORATION, INC. Topic: A12aT009The rapid ascent and adoption of social media as the dominant form of communication has led to significant analysis challenges. In particular, there is a gap in theoretically informed methods to analyze data mined and collected from social media. One primary cause of this gap is the lack of fusing structural sources of information (e.g. social network topology) with non-structural sources (message ...

Hand Rehabilitation using Variable Assistance through Force and EMG Feedback
SBC: Koronis Biomedical Technologies Corp. Topic: NIADESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): This project proposes to develop and evaluate a hand rehabilitation system for chronic hemiparetic stroke survivors that have lost their ability to full control their hand. Stroke is the leading cause of adult disability, and is the third leading cause of death in the United States. Stroke survivors often face a significant loss of functional motor control in ...

Second generation MTI-101 analogs using a novel peptoid-peptide hybrid beta-hairp
SBC: MODULATION THERAPEUTICS, INC. Topic: NCIMTI-101 is a cyclic beta-hairpin peptide that binds CD44 with high affinity and kills multiple myeloma cell lines in vitro and blocks the growth of myeloma tumors in 2 different murine models. This interaction of MTI-101 with the surface of MM cells causesprogrammed cell necrosis, whereas all approved MM drugs cause apoptosis and so the novel mechanism of MTI-101 or MTI-like compounds makes it esp ...

Location Initiated Individualized Texts for African American Adolescent Health
SBC: MEI Research, Ltd Topic: NIMHDDESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): Obesity in the U.S. has disproportionately affected African American (AA) adolescents who have almost twice the prevalence of obesity than their Caucasian peers. This is due in part to greater exposure to, and higher consumption of, 'fast' and calorie dense foods among minority vs. majority populations. Finding effective ways to address dietary habits ...
