Award Data
The Award database is continually updated throughout the year. As a result, data for FY24 is not expected to be complete until March, 2025.
Download all SBIR.gov award data either with award abstracts (290MB)
or without award abstracts (65MB).
A data dictionary and additional information is located on the Data Resource Page. Files are refreshed monthly.
The SBIR.gov award data files now contain the required fields to calculate award timeliness for individual awards or for an agency or branch. Additional information on calculating award timeliness is available on the Data Resource Page.

Dynamic Frequency Passive Millemeter-Wave Radiometer Based on Optical Up-Conversion
SBC: PHASE SENSITIVE INNOVATIONS INC Topic: 94Passive microwave sensors aboard satellites provide valuable information regarding weather conditions by measuring atmospheric attenuation over a broad range of frequencies from 0-200 GHz. Additional ground-based sensors are desirable to provide complementary upward looking measurements that can be used to refine existing attenuation models. Operating over such a large bandwidth, however, places ...

Low Cost Fuel Grade Ethanol
SBC: COMPACT MEMBRANE SYSTEMS, INC. Topic: 88The membrane drying process for ethanol plants should be of great value in increasing capacity and/or reducing energy consumption for existing ethanol plants. We will manufacture modules of the novel membrane with a commercial partner. A pilot demonstration unit will be constructed and deployed at an actual ethanol plant for demonstrating the membrane process capabilities and advantages.

Delivering the Health, Environmental and Economic Benefits of Trails to Rural Americans through a High Efficiency Trail Assessment Process
SBC: BENEFICIAL DESIGNS INC Topic: N/AThe Universal Trail Assessment Process (UTAP) and TrailWare, software for UTAP data, were developed to obtain objective trail information. Over 700 people within Federal, State, local and non-profit agencies have been UTAP trained throughout the US. Requiring 9 to 15 person hours per mile of trail is the primary factor that limits the use of UTAP. Over 85% of rural land managers consider objective ...
