Abstract

Atmospheric Glow Technologies proposes to develop the Plasma Agent Neutralization Elimination (PLANE) System based upon its patented One Atmosphere Uniform Glow Discharge Plasma (OAUGDP) technology. When developed, this advanced design will serve as a system for the decontamination of aircraft and associated cargo. AGT has demonstrated the success of OAUGDP in decontaminating various substrates against biological warfare simulants. Phase II efforts will serve to further develop the system and to extend materials compatibility studies to verify the process does not induce damage to representative materials. Work will also focus on validating the system under different environmental conditions.
