Abstract
Our Phase I proposal addresses the demonstration of the feasibility to develop a radiation hardened technology for dual band HgCdTe Focal Plane Arrays which would include the LWIR/VLWIR wave bands of 7-14 micrometers and 14-18 micrometers. In Phase II, we plan to implement the approach to demonstrate VLWIR dual color detectors and Read Out ICs culminating in the demonstration of focal plane arrays with significantly improved radiation hardness.
