Abstract
THIS INNOVATION PROPOSAL WILL RESEARCH THE FEASIBILITY OF DEVELOPING A HIGHLY ACCURATE, LOW COST POLYMER SENSOR, UTILIZING THE PIEZOELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF PVDF COMBINED WITHA DIAPHRAGM AND/OR OTHER FORCE SENSITIVE STRUCTURE TO PRODUCE A PRESSURE SENSOR. THE POLYMER SENSOR WILL BE EASILY ADAPTED TO COMMERCIAL AND GENERAL AVIATION AIRCRAFT TO ADDRESS SENSORS UTILIZED IN SMART ANGLE OF ATTACK AND ANGLE OF SIDESLIP MEASUREMENTS.
