Abstract

This project aims to develop an accelerated aging study of supercapacitorbattery hybrid devices utilizing various multi-stress factor models. The applicability of the aging models will be validated by systematic calendar and cycle life aging experiments to extract key stress factors for capacity loss and impedance growth of hybrid systems. Cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge-discharge cycling, and impedance spectroscopy measurements will be utilized to understand the aging processes.
