Research Institution
Composite Technology Development, Inc. (CTD) proposes to optimize the deployment, packaging and control of an Elastic Memory Composite (EMC) deployable boom for the FalconSat-3 mission. In Phase I, CTD will optimize the deployment, packaging and control of the EMC boom longeron through the design, analysis, fabrication and testing of prototype longerons and booms. In Phase II, CTD will develop a deployable boom using the EMC longeron, for flight on the FalconSat-3 spacecraft.
