Abstract
SEAKR’s ReConfigurable Computers (RCC) offers a flexible reprogrammable platform that is designed to support many spacecraft applications from interface electronics controls, guidance and navigation control, or high end processing of sensor data. The RCC architecture reduces risk, costs, and schedule for satellite missions by providing a reconfigurable space based platform that could be used for a number of different spacecraft avionic applications. This SBIR integrates AFRL’s SPA-S technology into our RCC architecture. The resulting board will be referred to as the Responsive Avionics RCC (RA RCC). It provides a platform that can not only support rapid, low cost plug-and-play integration into a spacecraft but because it is reconfigurable, it may also be used for many different subsystems. This lowers development costs and risk by allowing subsystems to share development costs and standardize on a common set of tools, hardware, and architecture.
