Abstract
A NOVEL METHOD OF COMPUTERIZING INTEGRAL EQUATIONS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC SCATTERING HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WHICH REQUIRES LESS MEMORY THAN OTHER METHODS WHICH SOLVE ONLY AN APPROXIMATE FINITE RANK INTEGRAL EQUATIONS AND WHICH ENABLES ONE, WITH ENOUGH COMPUTATIONAL EFFORT, TO COMPLETELY CORRECT THE DISCRETIZATION ERROR. APPLICATIONS ARE PROPOSED TO 1, 2, AND 3 DIMENSIONAL SCATTERING PROBLEMS WHICH ARE BENCH MARKED BY ROBUST DAMASKOS DESIGN CODES, SUCH AS TROMMA, WHICH TREATS MULTILAYER ANISOTROPIC SLABS, HPOLA, WHICH USES CONTOUR INTEGRATION TO TREAT SCATTERING BY A HOMOGENEOUS ANISOTROPIC CYLINDER WITH A GENERAL CROSS SECTION AND HAVING AN EMBEDDED ISOTROPIC CORE, AND AN IMPLEMENTIONAL OF A MIE LIKE SOLUTION FOR A MULTILAYER ANISOTROPIC SPHERE.
