Abstract
In Phase II, Wagner Associates, with SAIC as a subcontractor, will build a full-scale prototype Multi-Vehicle Mission Planner (MVMP) designed for implementation in a Tech Refresh of the LCS UVCC; and interface it with MIW, ASW, and SUW LCS Mission Package high level mission planners (HLPs) as well as LCS Vehicle Control Stations (VCSs) and the UVCC Geodisplay. MVMP will concentrate on the key areas of MIW, ASW, and SUW UV optimization, planning, and evaluation to which advanced optimization and data fusion techniques can contribute significantly. We will use this Phase II system to further develop effective optimization and data fusion in support of MIW, ASW, and SUW UV operations and demonstrate its use in operational environments. Our principle technical objectives are: (1) develop a detailed Interface Requirements Specification (IRS) between MVMP and the LCS Mission Package HLPs, VCSs, and the UVCC Geodisplay to support the integration of MVMP components into UVCC, (2) implement these interfaces and develop a MVMP Full Scale Demonstration System (FSDS), (3) Integrate the prototype MVMP components into UVCC.
