Abstract
DCS Corporation proposes to build a bench top prototype system to demonstrate the concept of using thermal sensors to visualize the flow of leaking air from a fuel tank. The air would be heated and pressurized in the fuel tank to aid thermal detection. As part of this effort, DCS proposes to determine the basic requirements required for fuel mechanics to detect leaks using this method and to design a system which will meet those requirements. The concept demonstration system will be a lab bench top arrangement which will not be interated into a final, production-ready unit, but will be representative of the capabilities of the technoogy which may be in a production system.
