Abstract
Current methodologies that evolve/mature advance onboard/offboard sensor/electronic warfare technologies are time-consuming and require extensive open-air range testing. Laboratory simulation facilities are less expensive, more controllable/flexible andprovide the most cost-effective environment for rapidly prototyping/evolving these technologies. However, current simulation capabilities lack the required simulator technology for rapidly prototyping these technologies/capabilities. Defense ResearchAssociates (DRA) has created an innovative concept, ROOST, that links physically separated capabilities/facilities to form a collaborative research environment combining the unique capabilities of individual simulation facilities into a real-time syntheticbattlespace for rapidly evolving
