Abstract
Since 2010, ASR has been working with partners at the University of Arizona and now the University of New South Wales in Canberra, Australia, on strategies that allow us to leverage electrically small antenna concepts for HPEM applications. Our past projects have been in conjunction with numerous agencies including the US Army, the US Navy, and large defense prime contractors. In this proposal, we will leverage our recent experience to develop a low-profile antenna array system that can simultaneously handle high peak and average powers from HPEM sources in a nearly conformal configuration that is compact enough to integrate onto an MRAP or similar ground vehicle.
