Abstract

All Solid-State Battery, by replacing liquid electrolyte with solvent-free solid electrolyte (SE) which is anticipated to preclude dendrite formation, has the promise to ultimately resolve the safety issues of lithium ion batteries. Storagenergy Technologies Inc. propose a superior all solid-state battery based on lithium anode, ceramic membranes and advanced composite cathode. If successful, the all solid-state battery could offer tremendous benefits to many national needs.
