Abstract

SARA will develop an L-band detection sensor node that will detect, characterize, and geo-locate GPS jammers. At least eight nodes will be produced and they will be networked into an integrated surveillance system. The integrated, multi-node system will be controlled by a central monitoring system, where real-time surveillance results will be displayed to the end-user. The system will be tested and validated under government conducted field tests. The sensor developed for this program is ground based, but prior SARA programs have built and demonstrated an airborne sensor that provides the same capabilities.
