Mentis Sciences Inc. (Mentis) proposes to develop a refurbishment program that is capable of disassembling, inspecting, and re-building complex systems and components, with the initial system of focus being the Minuteman Missile Antenna/Antenna Pedestal Assembly.To become a refurbishment supplier, Mentis will develop and adapt inhouse processes for performing refurbishment services by leveraging current reverse engineering and manufacturing capabilities.The proposed capability to be developed at Mentis will be applicable to several other systems including other antenna systems currently in development at Mentis.At the completion of Phase I it is anticipated that an inspection and refurbishment capability will be established at Mentis and a preliminary and documented refurbishment plan for the Minuteman Missile Antenna Pedestal Assembly will be generated. In Phase II Mentis intends to finish any incomplete items on the Pedestal Assembly as well as generate and file a preliminary Source Approval Request or similar process documentation for approval as a supplier by the DLA
