Abstract
In this Phase II, Oceanit proposes to further the impedance approach and battery analyzer device developed in Phase I to demonstrate an optimized technique for monitoring, diagnosis and prognosis of lead acid batteries. Oceanit shall design an integrated lead-acid battery health monitoring tool prototype for testing in an operationally relevant environment. Impedance model will be further refined taking into account the various factor that influence the measurement for reliable interpretation of battery performance and failures. This phase includes fabrication, testing and delivery of prototype hardware and software to Army for testing in lab and on vehicle.
