Abstract
In this Phase I SBIR, QuesTek Innovations will work with a leader in the field of surface finish engineering to pursue a tandem approach for developing techniques for surface finishing, and developing a modeling framework for predicting fatigue life based on surface finish. Exemplar models provided by the US Navy will be investigated with target alloy system(s) to fully demonstrate the technology and effectively plan for the Phase II.
