Abstract
Ensuring high system availability and readiness of mission-critical equipment is a key issue for all branches of military. Regular and accurate readiness assessment of the equipment is essential in ensuring that the system performs as desired during the mission. Systems designed for repeated usage with decades of operational life requirement such as aircraft, navy ships and armament vehicles require continuous health monitoring and assessment with rapid return-to-service during their lengthy life-cycle. QSI proposes its mature, established TEAMS technology commercialized with NASA and the medical device industry which provides for a systematic model-based engineering methodology for health monitoring, assessment and guided troubleshooting for root-cause identification and mitigation for high value, infrastructure-critical equipment.
