The current AdHoc emergency notification system for the United States Air Force is a broken and antiquated process that does not fit the needs of todays modern war fighter. At a majority of Air Force Bases the squadron members still hand carry a piece of paper on them at all times called a recall roster, which includes all of the names and information of each squadron member, in order to successfully administer a recall when needed. BaseConnect, a software as a service (SAAS) platform already has hundreds of active duty, guard, reserve, military spouses and veterans using our mobile application. We have received numerous requests to build a digital recall roster solution, within the BaseConnect platform, and we see this Air Force SBIR funding as a great way to fund the development of this feature. We are calling this new feature we plan to develop, ReCaller().
