Research Institution
Battle Sight proposes the development of a product that is a combination of three existing technologies owned by Battle Sight Technologies, Cornerstone Research Group (CRG), and the United States Air Force.Between the three technologies a customizable infrared signature can be applied to virtually any surface including clothing, vehicles, weapon systems, and targets with a duration ranging from a few minutes to a completely passive solution that will last several weeks. All three of the proposed technologies can hold up to any environmental conditions around the world in which US SOCOM and partner forces train and operate. These technologies include pressure activated infrared chemiluminescence material, infrared micro-reflector tags, and persistent infrared phosphors. Figure 2 displays the concept, which is a unique combination of passive IR detectable technologies that can be combined and delivered in various form factors.
