The US relies on space-based systems not only for national defense, but these systems also underpin our modern way of life. Every year, new satellites are launched into orbit, and the space environment is becoming increasingly congested and contested. This trend challenges our nation's ability to maintain an up-to-date catalog of all resident space objects and to rapidly detect potential on-orbit threats. Existing ground-based optical telescope networks, both commercial and Government, are limited to observing satellites in geosynchronous Earth orbit (GEO) during the night. Numerica proposes to demonstrate and proliferate a novel approach to the low-cost daytime tracking of satellites in GEO that leverages advances in commercial off-the-shelf hardware, Numerica's SSA software stack, and Numerica's experience operating remote robotic telescopes around the world.
