Abstract
The Dual Mode Propulsion Module Technology for Space Control concept utilizes an innovative approach to rocketry in which the propellant can be combusted as a solid rocket or as an electric thruster. The resulting system is highly flexible and hence ableto perform a wide variety of space control missions. The benefits of this technology include greatly expanded performance envelops for military and civilian satellites. This technology also allows orbit transfer vehicles to be able to perform multiplemissions for space control purposes.
